These are the notes and errata from the year long Loom-a-long from the book. If you purchased your book through Ravelry, you will receive an updated file with these corrections and added notes.

Crossing Borders
Note: If using the 1/2 inch CinDwood Loom, the plain (traditional) knit stitch is recommended to get the proper size square. When worked, the square will look “short”, but once off the loom, a quick tug will bring it into shape.

Three Wishes
K = plain (traditional) knit stitch.
Note: some people found their gauge ran large for this square, resulting in a square closer to 11 x 11. Swatching, and possibly reducing the number of repeats may be needed to get a 10 inch square.

Bee’s Knees
There is an extra “S” at the beginning of Row 8. Ignore it.

Patchwork Fences
The pattern as written comes out much smaller than 10 inches square. It is suggested that 3 pegs be added on each side to increase the width, to the purl columns. It also may help to add a few rows of garter stitch at the start and end, to make an even edge.

Baskets of Hope
If working on a Kiss loom, use the U-wrap stitch. If working on a CinDwood Loom or other 1/2 inch gauge loom, use the plain (traditional) knit stitch.

Seaside
Some people felt the square seemed short as they were knitting it, but once off the loom and blocked it fell nicely into a square.

Coffee & Cream Tweed
Since this square is composed of knit or slip stitches, it will have a tendency to roll on the edges. If you are seaming it as part of a throw, this won’t matter. However, it you decide to use in a different project where the edges are exposed, you may want to add a small garter edge.
